The Bold Ruler Handicap is an American Thoroughbred horse race run annually at the end of October at Aqueduct Racetrack in Ozone Park Queens New York. A Grade III event it is contested on dirt at a distance of six furlongs.The race is named for U.S. Racing Hall of Fame inductee Bold Ruler. The race was run as a handicap prior to 1981.The Bold Ruler Handicap had been hosted by Belmont Park and was at Aqueduct Racetrack in 2001. It was moved back to the Aqueduct track for 2009.
