The Blue Rock Power Station is a 2.6 megawatts (3500 hp) rated capacity hydro electric facility located at the Blue Rock Dam on the Tanjil River approximately 130 kilometres (81 mi) east of Melbourne in the Latrobe Valley. The power station commenced operations in 1992 and has an annual average output of 9 gigawatt-hours (32 TJ).
