Black Rock Harbor Light also known as Fayerweather Island Light is a lighthouse in Bridgeport Connecticut United States on the south end of Fayerweather Island that marks the entrance to Black Rock Harbor. Originally constructed as a wooden tower it was made operational by October 1808. On September 3 1821 a storm destroyed the tower and it was rebuilt as a stone lighthouse in 1823. The light was an active aid until 1933 when it was replaced by two offshore automatic lights.
