William (Bill) Sawchuk (born January 8 1959 in Roblin Manitoba) was a Canadian swimmer competing in the butterfly freestyle and medley events during the 1970s and early 1980s. He competed for his native country at the 1976 Summer Olympics and won a total number of five medals at the 1979 Pan American Games.
