Biliary dyskinesia refers to altered tonus of the sphincter of Oddi (usually increased pressure) disturbance in the coordination of contraction of the biliary ducts and/or reduction in the speed of emptying of the biliary tree.The gallbladder stores the bile which is released by the liver. The bile reaches the small intestine where it digests the fat from aliments.
