Bihari Mauritians are the descendants of Bihari migrants to Mauritius. A majority of Indo-Mauritians are Bihari and a majority of Mauritians are Indo-Mauritian (the Hindus: Brahmin Rajput Koery Kurmi Bhumihar Yadav Banias and Kayastha castes are well represented. ).
