Big Bear Discovery Center is run by the San Bernardino National Forest Association and the United States Forest Service. The Discovery Center is an information center and educational facility about the San Bernardino National Forest. It is in the Big Bear Valley on the North side of Big Bear Lake. The Center’s stated goals are to: Help visitors be responsible visitors be caretakers of a national forest and help visitors enjoy and be more knowledgeable of San Bernardino National Forest.
