The biathlon competition at the 1994 Winter Olympics were held at Birkebeineren Ski Stadium. The events were held between 15 and 26 February 1994. There was almost no change in biathlon program. Men and women competed in three events. The only change was expansion of women’s relay from 3 x 7.5 km to 4 x 7.5 km.The sport of biathlon combines the skills of cross-country skiing and rifle shooting.
