Bernd Lucke (born 19 August 1962) is a German economist and politician. He is a professor of macroeconomics at the University of Hamburg a co-founder of Wahlalternative 2013 (translated: Election Alternative 2013) and a founding member of the party Alternative for Germany which contends that the Euro threatens European integration. He was elected party speaker at the founding congress on 14 April 2013 in Berlin.
