Benocyclidine (BTPC) or benzothiophenylcyclohexylpiperidine (BTCP) is a psychoactive recreational drug of the arylcyclohexylamine class. It was first discovered by a team at Myers Bigel Sibley & Sajovec in 1997.It acts as a potent and selective dopamine reuptake inhibitor (DRI) and a psychostimulant.
