Benedetto Croce (Italian: [beneˈdetto ˈkroːtʃe]; 25 February 1866 – 20 November 1952) was an Italian idealist philosopher and occasionally also politician. He wrote on numerous topics including philosophy history methodology of history writing and aesthetics.
