The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X is an American light helicopter currently under development by Bell Helicopter. The Bell 505 was unveiled at the 2013 Paris Airshow on June 17 2013 as the Bell SLS (Short Light Single). The official name was later announced at HAI Heli-Expo 2014 in Anaheim California on February 25 2014. The first flight is scheduled to occur by the end of 2014 with certification to follow as soon as possible.
