Belaya Rus (Belarusian for White Ruthenia; Cyrillic: Белая Русь) is a Belarusian public association founded on 17 November 2007 to support President Alexander Lukashenko. It is based on the idea of Vladimir Putin’s United Russia party but is not registered as a political party. The leader of the association is minister of Education of Belarus Alexander Radkov (Russian: Александр Радьков). The organisation has a membership of over 130000.
