Bayern Brewing Inc. is the oldest and second largest active microbrewery in the U.S. State of Montana. It was founded in 1987 by Brewers Thorsten Geuer and Jürgen Knöller as the only German brewery in the Rockies and is one of four breweries located in Missoula Montana. The brewery has multiple award-winning brews and is known for its cooperation with local artist Monte Dolack in designing various labels.
