Batman (Terrence Terry McGinnis) is a fictional character a superhero that appears in comic books published by DC Comics as well as the protagonist of the animated television series Batman Beyond (1999–2001) in which he has succeeded Bruce Wayne as the protector of Gotham City and is his biological son. He was voiced by Will Friedle. His first appearance in canonical mainstream comic book continuity was in Batman #700 (June 2010).
