Bastyan Power Station is a hydroelectric power station opened in 1983 located at Lake Rosebery West Coast Tasmania Australia. Bastyan has one Francis style turbine with a generating capacity of 79.9MW of electricity. Bastyan was constructed as a part of the Pieman River Power Development it is an above ground power station the second in the development and it also has its own dam and lake (lake Rosebery) that was all built over between 1974 and 1987.
