The Bashkir language (Башҡорт теле başqort tele pronounced [baʂ.ˌqʊ̞rt.tɪ̞.ˈlɪ̞] ) is co-official with Russian in the Republic of Bashkortostan. It is part of the Kipchak group of the Turkic languages and has three dialects: Eastern Southern and Northwestern.
