Barbara Krystyna Tuge-Erecińska (born March 24 1956 in Gdańsk Poland) is the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the United Kingdom appointed by President Lech Kaczyński on 24 October 2006.After graduating in 1980 from the University of Gdańsk at the onset of the anti-communist Solidarity movement Barbara Tuge-Erecińska joined the Union and set up the Solidarity International Department.
