The Bangladesh Election Commission (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ নির্বাচন কমিশন) is an independent constitutional body of the nation of Bangladesh that operates the legal functions of Election law in Bangladesh.Article 118 of the Bangladeshi Constitution consisting of a Chief Election Commissioner and such number of other Election Commissioners if any as the President may from time to time direct.The appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner of Bangladesh and other Election Commissioners (if any) is made by the President.
