Backpackers Express was a proposed airline to have been based in Brisbane Queensland Australia. It was established in December 2003 proposing a long-haul low-fares operation using two dry-leased Boeing 747-400 aircraft. Proposed destinations included Delhi Bangkok Munich and Manchester. By April 2005 the airline had failed to launch and investors withdrew funding leading the company to close down.
