Pablito Sarmiento Jr. (born June 29 1942 – August 27 1998) better known as Babalu was a Filipino comedian and actor. Babalu is considered as one of the most famous and beloved comedians in the Philippines. He was a Filipino celebrity under ABS-CBN. He began as a driver for the late comedian Panchito Alba. Dolphy another Filipino comedian discovered Babalu’s talent as a comedian.
