Azim Beishembayevich Isabekov (Russian: Азимбек Бейшембаевич Исабеков) born 4 April 1960) served as the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan from 29 January until 29 March 2007.Isabekov was born in Arashan Chui Oblast and was trained as an economist graduating from Kyrgyz State National University in 1986. After college he was a Komsomol (communist youth organization) organizer. In 1997 he went to work for Governor Kurmanbek Bakiyev as his Chief of Staff in the Governor’s Office of Chui.
