The Azerbaijan Communist Party (Azerbaijani: Azərbaycan Kommunist Partiyası) is a communist party in Azerbaijan. AKP was set up in 1993 by Ramiz Ahmadov (March 6 1939 – September 10 2007) and registered by the Justice Ministry in 1994.
