The Australia First Party (AFP) is a minor extreme right wing political party in Australia that is registered to contest federal elections and local elections in New South Wales. The party is led by Jim Saleam. Saleam is the Chairman of the party in New South Wales but plays a major role in the party on a national scale. The party’s policies are said to be based on old-fashioned Australian Labor Party values that were allegedly abandoned by the Labor Party in the early 1970s.
