The Austin Bruins are a Junior A Tier II ice hockey team based in Austin Minnesota. The team began play during the 2010-11 season. A member of the North American Hockey League in the Central Division the Bruins play their home games in the Riverside Arena. On March 1 2010 the Bruins announced their nickname. On January 19th 2012 it was announced the team signed a 3 year deal to continue play in Austin.
