Augusto Lauro (born November 29 1923) is an Italian Prelate of Roman Catholic Church.Lauro was born in Tarvisio and was ordained a priest on June 29 1947. Lauro was appointed Auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Cosenza on September 8 1975 as well as titular bishop of Bigastro and ordained October 28 1975. Lauro was appointed bishop of the Diocese of San Marco Argentano-Scalea on April 7 1979 where he remained until his retirement on March 6 1999.
