The Augusta RiverHawks were a professional minor league ice hockey team based in Augusta Georgia in the Southern Professional Hockey League. The RiverHawks play their home games at the James Brown Arena previously home to the Augusta Lynx of the ECHL from 1998 until the team’s folding in 2008. Currently the RiverHawks are on hiatus due to a malfunction of the James Brown Arena’s ice system.
