August Herman Halvorsen (2 September 1866 – 6 January 1929) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Democrats.He served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament during the term 1919–1921 representing the rural constituency of Vest-Telemarken.Born in Skien he grew up in Holla and inherited his father’s tanning business.He was a member of Holla municipal council from 1898 to 1925 serving as mayor from 1916.
