Atopica is a collaborative project funded by the European Commission within the 7th Framework Programme under the theme ‘environmental change and its effects on atopic diseases in Europe’ [ENV.2011.1.2.1-1]. The project started in October 2011 and will last 36 months.The main issue the project deals with is the urgent need to understand how global and regional climate land-use and air quality changes will impact human health.
