Aset Zhumashovich Imanbayev (also Asset Imanbayev Kazakh: Асет Жумашович Иманбаев; born September 23 1981 in Urzhar Shyrgys Qazaqstan) is an amateur Kazakhstani Greco-Roman wrestler who played for the men’s featherweight category. He is a two-time Asian wrestling champion (2003 and 2004) and a gold medalist for his division at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan South Korea.Imanbayev represented Kazakhstan at the 2008 Summer Olympics where he competed for the men’s 55 kg class.
