Ashley John Callus (born 10 March 1979) is an Australian sprint freestyle swimmer who won a gold medal in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.Coming from Brisbane Queensland and of Maltese origin Callus graduated in Iona College he was coached by Chris Urquhart spent the beginning of his career as the understudy of fellow Australians Michael Klim and Chris Fydler.
