Arizona v. Inter Tribal Council of Arizona Inc. is a 2012-term Supreme Court Case revolving around Arizona’s unique voter registration requirements which include the necessity of documenting citizenship. The Court led by Justice Scalia held that these requirements were pre-empted by the federal National Voter Registration Act. However the Court did suggest ways for Arizona to overcome this hurdle.
