There is a small Argentine diaspora in Mexico. According to the 2010 census there were roughly 13000 Argentine citizens living in Mexico. Argentine immigrants constitute the second largest foreign community of South Americans in Mexico and the fifth expatriate community. The Argentines have focused primarily on Mexico City and in some cities such as Leon Guadalajara Puebla Cancun Playa del Carmen Tulum Mérida Monterrey and Tampico.
