Archie J. Sykes (24 September 1866 – 26 August 1957) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Essendon Football Club and was involved in the club’s 1897 premiership win.Sykes played for Essendon for 7 years in the then VFA between 1889–1896 bar 1891. Sykes was involved in 3 Essendon VFA premierships in 1892-3-4.
