The Archie Griffin Award named after the only two-time Heisman Trophy winner in history Archie Griffin was first presented to Virginia Tech quarterback Michael Vick in 1999. The specially designed ring is one of the few college football awards presented after all bowl games are completed and signifies college football’s Most Valuable Player for the entire season. The most recent recipient is Florida State University quarterback Jameis Winston.
