The Archeparchy of Diyarbakır is the only Chaldaean rite diocese in Turkey. It’s a 1966 revival of the Chaldean Diocese of Amid and the bishop lives in Beyoğlu Istanbul.The bishop is a suffragan to the Patriarch of Babylon.
