Archduke Rainer Ferdinand of Austria (Rainer Ferdinand Maria Johann Evangelist Franz Ignaz; 11 January 1827 Milan – 27 January 1913 Vienna) was an Austrian prime minister. He was a son of Archduke Rainer Joseph of Austria and Princess Elisabeth of Savoy.In 1852 he married his cousin Archduchess Maria Carolina of Austria (1825-1915) daughter of Archduke Charles Duke of Teschen. The marriage was a very happy one and the couple was probably the most popular amongst the Habsburg family.
