Arbor Place Mall the only regional mall directly serving the growing western suburbs of Atlanta is located in Douglasville Georgia in Douglas County. Opened in October 1999 the mall was originally to be anchored by Dillard’s Parisian Sears and Upton’s. The Upton’s chain folded prior to the opening of the mall but the contract to build the store was still completed resulting in a vacant anchor when the mall opened.
