The Arab Liberation party (Hizb Al-Taharor Al-‘Arabi) (Arabic:حزب التحرر العربي) is a Lebanese political party with considerable support in the city of Tripoli (Trablos) North Lebanon.[citation needed] Its membership is mainly Sunni Muslim.[citation needed]Led by former Prime minister Omar Karami the party is part of the March 8 Alliance and is allied to Hezbollah and the Free Patriotic Movement.
