Anthony Bean Community Theater & Acting School (ABCT) was established in the spring of 2000 to meet the demands of New Orleans Louisiana area residents interested in learning and participating in dramatic art. As of 2010 the center was New Orleans’ only African-American community theater. Founder Anthony Bean established the theater and drama school with the goal of representing those who have no voice.
