The Ankara-Konya high-speed railway is a high-speed rail line between Ankara and Konya. Yüksek Hızlı Tren (YHT) started commercial operations on 23 August 2011. Built at a cost of about TL1 billion the line is the second high-speed rail line in Turkey after the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed railway. The line shares the same route with the İstanbul-Ankara high-speed railway from Ankara to Polatlı from where it branches south at the large Polatlı high-speed rail junction.
