In psychology and psychiatry anhedonia (/ˌænhiˈdoʊniə/ AN-hee-DOH-nee-ə; Greek: ἀν- an- without and ἡδονή hēdonē pleasure) is defined as the inability to experience pleasure from activities usually found enjoyable e.g. exercise hobbies music sexual activities or social interactions.
