The Diocese of Mthatha is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Before 2006 it was known as the Diocese of St John’s. The diocese currently has 69 parishes and the current Bishop of Mthatha is Sitembele Tobela Mzamane.
