Angelo Amato S.D.B. (born 8 June 1938 at Molfetta Italy) is a cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church and serves (as of 2012) as the Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints. He served as Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith from 2002 to 2008.
