Angelique Kerber (born 18 January 1988 in Bremen) is a professional German tennis player who is currently ranked world number 8 in singles by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). As such Kerber is the highest ranked German in the WTA Rankings.Since turning professional in 2003 Kerber has won three singles titles on the WTA tour as well as eleven singles and three doubles titles on the ITF circuit.
