Andrew Andy Smith (born 8 July 1983) is an Irish hurler who currently plays as a midfielder for the Galway senior team.Smith made his first appearance for the team during the 2005 championship and became a regular member of the starting fifteen over subsequent seasons. Since then he has won one Leinster winners’ medal and one National Hurling League winners’ medal.At club level Smith is a three-time All-Ireland medalist with Portumna.
