Andrew K. Golden is President of the Princeton University Investment Company which manages the university’s financial endowment. According to a report in the Daily Princetonian the endowment earned a 5.6 percent return for the 12 months ended in June 2008 growing from $15.8 billion to $16.4 billion.Golden cites unusually volatile markets as the cause for the steep decline.
