Andreas Peter Cornelius Sol M.S.C. (born 19 October 1915) is a Dutch prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. As of 2009 at the age of 98 he is one of the oldest Catholic bishops; he still lives in Amboina one of the Moluccan islands in Indonesia. He was born in Sloten Amsterdam.Sol was born in Sloten what used to be a farmer’s village close to Amsterdam Netherlands and ordained a priest on 10 August 1940 from the Roman Catholic order Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
