Andrea Miglionico was an Italian painter of the late-Baroque period born in Miglionico (province of Matera) and a pupil of Luca Giordano. He painted historical subjects and there are several of his works in the churches of his native city the best perhaps a ‘Pentecost’’’ in the SS. Nunziata. He died soon after Giordano (1705). Page 152
