America West Airlines was a U.S. airline headquartered in Tempe Arizona. Their main hub was at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport with a second hub at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport. The airline became part of the US Airways Group after a merger in 2005.Prior to the merger America West operated two hubs: their base location at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix Arizona and a secondary hub at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas Nevada.
